Below are some photos of a new vision screening device that was purchased with some of the
donation from last year’s golf tournament(2007). This device is designed to perform eye
screening on preschool children and identifies conditions that can lead to preventable blindness
in children (amblyopia). It also can tell you if a child needs glasses.
Doctors will be using this device at Riley Hospital and also at Wishard Hospitals Pediatrics
clinic where many poor and under privileged children are cared for. It will also be used in
community health screenings.
